The signature album of ‘The Kilted Generation’. In the midst of a second Bush Oil War the lads were angry and wanted people to know it. Liverdance was born as a voice of rage in musical form; with most songs clocking in at over 180 beats per minute, it provides a great soundtrack for a craic party. It is with this album The Badpiper and his clan transmogrified from world music to Rock'n'Roll.
It comes complete with a bonus video, live on the streets of Fremantle, of The Green Dream, just pop it into your computer and relive the dream!
This album was inspired by the story of The Fremantle Six.
1866, Six Fenians are incarcerated within the walls of Fremantle Prison for no other crime than being passionately Irish. In 1876 a brilliantly cunning liberation was planned and executed, which saw the six escape and sail to their freedom, arriving in New York to a heroes welcome. In this modern day ignorance, intolerance, injustice and apathy imprison us all. The road to freedom is purely in the passion and creativity of each one of us as individuals. Climb the walls and break free!
